| Report Summary: |
The SecureSpan Bridge for Accelerated Integrations and Domain Bridging In secure Web service or XML application ('services') integrations, client applications must implement programming-intensive and complex security measures in order to gain access to the services that they need. The SecureSpan Bridge automates and speeds the deployment of client-side security implementations, removing the programming burden and any multi- platform issues associated with the client application. The SecureSpan Bridge also insulates client applications from ongoing security policy changes, effectively extending consistent security across integrations. The SecureSpan Bridge interfaces with client-side applications and automatically negotiates policy-specific security, routing, and transaction preferences with the SecureSpan Gateway in real time. Client systems send message requests to the SecureSpan Bridge. The SecureSpan Bridge then functions as a client-side proxy, applying necessary protocols, headers, or transformations to the message as required by the policy in force. Policies modified through the SecureSpan Manager are automatically applied in real time by the SecureSpan Bridge to ensure that all subsequent messages conform to the updated policy. The SecureSpan Bridge ensures rigorous, fine-grained security with automated change control end-to-end across even the simplest service integrations. |
