This white paper explores how Multinational customers (MNCs) wish their banks to support their internationally controlled business and especially to administer their cash along international credit lines. It alos takes a look at how European banks, are today already competing with each other in the whole European, if not the international market. There have been vast improvements in banking IT systems in the past few years. Unfortunately, the IT infrastructure in most banks is far from uniform, whether on the international or on the domestic level. This is a serious obstacle for using products in global account management. An example of such a product is cash management, which enables the bank to better service the MNC by tailoring its offers towards the organizational structure of the MNC.
